retailTRUST, the charity which supports employees and families working in the retail sector, are running their first virtual event, ‘For the Four’, from October 19 to 21.
Hosted by retailTRUST’s CEO Christ Brook-Carter (pictured) the virtual event will run across the mornings of each of the three days with a programme of exclusive content aiming to shine a spotlight on the Trust’s mission to provide support for every individual whenever they need it.
Contributors include Paul Martin, Global Retail Lead and UK Head of Retail, KPMG, who will be dissecting the impact on COVID-19 on retail. Andy Clarke, former Chief Executive of Asda and Chairman of Newton will be discussing his unique perspective on ‘people, purpose and profits’.
There will be a series of workshops looking at Physical Health, Mental Health and Financial Wellness as well as discussions on a wide range of topics such as ‘The Power of Positivity’ and ‘Leading Teams in a New World’ which looks at how the role of a leader has been transformed in the last six months in the face of unprecedented challenges.
Panel discussions will include contributions from Paula Coughlan, Chief People Officer, Dixons Carphone, Paul Szumilewicz, Global Head of Agile, Global Marketing, HSBC and Tracey Clements, Chief Operating Officer, Boots UK and ROI.
Launching with the hashtag #forthefour the event forms part of a whole month of activity run by retailTRUST with particular focus on raising awareness and support for the one in four adults in the UK who will experience a mental health problem at some point in their lifetime.
