Retra Bytes Special Edition – Update on Guidelines and Support for Businesses

Our latest special edition of the Bytes newsletter was released today, 24th March, and we would advise all our members to take the time to read and digest it. The newsletter contains all the latest announcements from the Government regarding shop closures, along with links to all the relevant information on business support to owners and employees.

As mentioned in our news story this morning, it’s important to reiterate that electrical stores are included in the list of ‘non-essential’ retail and therefore your shops should be closed to the general public. Online sales and by phone are fine. You will be allowed to deliver and install but please follow the guidance for engineers and installers available here.  (Please note that you must be logged in to view the information.)

Retracare remains open and service calls will be made. 

There is no doubt that we are living through extraordinary times and we must all play our part in mitigating the spread of the Covid19 Coronavirus. There will of course be an impact to all businesses and global economies during this time and that can’t be avoided, but with the unprecedented support available from Government I am sure we can come through these very challenging times together.
