Retra associate member Big Red Sales has been appointed to manage sales of headphone brand Beyerdynamic in the UK.
The national sales agency will be working with Polar Audio, the exclusive UK distributor for Beyerdynamic, offering the products to more than 1,500 independent retailers.
In addition to taking orders, the Big Red team will also liaise with retailers on stocking plans and merchandising/feature displays, and will be carrying out product training.
Commenting on the partnership, Big Red Sales founder, John Reddington, said: “We are thrilled to be handling such a prestigious headphone brand in the marketplace and with a company that is so enthusiastic about growing the independent sector.
“The products are exceptional, as evidenced by the many five-star reviews they receive. We are sure they will be very well received by our independent retailer customer base, who certainly appreciate a good thing when they see it.”
Added Polar Audio’s managing director, John Midgley: “When first discussing a potential business opportunity with John Reddington I expected a professional approach, but it wasn’t until I met his team that I appreciated just how professional Big Red Sales would prove to be.
“I look forward to a long and successful relationship with Big Red Sales and their excellent network of independent retailers.”
Earlier this month, Big Red Sales announced it had added two new sales agents to its team. Patricia Smith, who joins the business from Loewe, where she was in charge of customer service, will be looking after retailers in Scotland and the North East and Cumbria, while Graham Leach, who spent 20 years working at Panasonic, will be responsible for the Midlands.
