Burden of proof

In any dispute, it is usual for the consumer to prove that the goods do not conform to contract, this is the legal way of saying that the goods are faulty or not as described.

This is the case where consumers wish to pursue their long established right to "reject goods", within a reasonably short period of time and obtain a refund. the period of time is not specified in law but would probable not more than a week or two after dellivery of the goods.

(see reverse burden and right to reject)
